Competition Photography

Competition photography demands a different kind of attention. The speed of alpine racing leaves almost no margin. A skier passes a gate in a fraction of a second, and the light rarely cooperates. What draws me to it is exactly that pressure: the requirement to be ready before the moment exists, and to find the image inside the chaos.

I've worked alongside athletes across a range of disciplines and formats, from regional circuit events to elite-level FIS competition. Whether it's capturing the technical precision of a GS turn or the raw commitment of a speed event, my focus is always on what separates one frame from the rest: the edge, the expression, the weight of a split second.
